i'm not that good in French,

i'm not that good in French, therefore I simply went throughout hit results...
1st note: I thought d3o was more competitive (against Nitrex as well)... average of the hits is 6kN where limit is 9... the Pro Sub4 does a lot better!
Tryonic as well is better then Racer (the one with d3o) and confirms its performances (on the italian magazine EuroMoto had same good result, 2nd only to Pro Sub4)
Buse and Held ones look to be at same level as Pro L2 (and correct me if i'm wrong, developer should be the same)
ALL ONE Bender (in italy is Soul Race) seems to be worst then done in the Euro Moto comparative (but I could be wrong, you know, age, memory...)

Alternatives are Level 1 back protector: I do not take them into consideration neither!
The Back and Chest ones do not provide satisfactory results, none of them -speaking about back, even because there's not a specification for chest protection... isn't it?- : 7kN and more, with Alpinestars being actually a Level 1 backprotector whilst homologation says it's a Level 2
ok, 7kN is better then... nothing or Level 1, but at least 6 or around... (hopefully my Flite IS around 6kN on the back Big smile )

Due to may French I cannot understand if test was made by a unique hit or several hits on several points, like EuroMoto's done with its comparative and Motosicurezza itself has done with the Pro Sub4 test.

about the racer/d3o one :

about the racer/d3o one : they say it's very very comfortable, this is an interesting point beside it's impact protection

the tested chest protectors are pr1621-3 certified, and they used the same tests as for the backprotectors.

they used the official procedure : 5 hits on different points.

Hi Gamerfou, thanks a lot for

Hi Gamerfou, thanks a lot for clarifications, this helps a lot Wink
Just... The pr1621-3 is not definitive yet but "just" a draft; if products have been homologated according to that, it still doesn't mean nothing but the fact they will be ready already when it will be finally approved Cool
Just hope it won't be more severe, with lowest limits than draft one...

the original wave was level 1

the original wave was level 1 certified, and had results around 16kN if I remember well.

we now have the wave air and the wave con scapole (which is the same as the air but with additional shoulder blades protectors), which are level 2 certified and have been tested at +/- 7kN but they look very similar to the original one

Come dice Gamerfou, il Wave è stato "rieditato"... il modello nuovo è certificato L.2, con risultati debbo dire non esaltantissimi. Onesti.
