Big smile

it has been tested by

it has been tested by lequipement.fr ( http://www.lequipement.fr/produit/gilet-rafraichissant/macna/dry-cooling... in french obviously)

they tested it while riding around town (so with little air to help the cooling) on a 32° day, they say it allows to drop the temperature by 12° :
28° degrees measured inside their regular motorcycle jacket used in combination of the macna versus 40° without the macna

they also say it did not feel "cold" but more like "not hot", which is better Smile

Gamerfou, can lequipment.fr be trusted. What's their reputation? If that test is accurate, this is a remarkably good product. A must buy for sure. For some reason, I am still skeptical, though.

lequipement.Fr is a "friend

lequipement.Fr is a "friend site" to motosicurezza. It was the first to introduce information about CE homologation in french web, they have contacts with french labs and I regularly transmit information from them to Alaxandair (and vice versa).
For example this article is based on info coming from lequipement.Fr : http://www.motosicurezza.com/?q=blog/francia-buone-etichette-e-cattivi-g... and another about airbags should be coming when Alax will find the time to write it Tongue

It is obviously more "commercially oriented" than motosicurezza, but it is still the most serious french site about motorcycle gear in my opninon.
When they publish an article with explicit measurements, they can be trusted.

A bunch of friends of mine bought this macna jacket after reading the article on lequipement.fr and they like it, but I have not tested it personally...

Ok, so assuming that is true,

Ok, so assuming that is true, that's hands down GREAT. Not good. Great.

A body temperature of 28 Celsius degrees is ok and relatively comfortable, and that's what you get when it's 40 Celsius degrees outside. 40! In a less brutal summer day, around 35 degrees, you'd be theoretically just perfectly fine and happy inside your jacket, at an astonishing 23 degrees!

It really sounds too good to be true. Even though it sooo sounds like a gilet from Hogwarts Laughing out loud, if u know what I mean, I sincerely hope that's all real. I'd buy one NOW if I knew it was. Smile

As I said, I've not bought

As I said, I've not bought nor tried one myself but a bunch of my friend did and they are all happy with it.

This added to lequipement.fr test make me think it really works... but I can't tell from my own experience, so I guess you'll have to try by yourself!
