(I have seen other posts in

(I have seen other posts in English here, so, until told otherwise, I will post in English Shy )

I also contacted them a few days ago, for I was looking at the same boots as you : quick answer... but strange answer : they basically told me they did not know which of their own models were certified... Shock

... and in turn directed me to their distributor : feridax.com

I found the Sidisport PDF catalogue on their distributor's website, on which they advertise 4 basic models as certified (through a little useless icon that doesn't tell much) :

- Charger
- Crossfire
- Vertigo
- Vortice

... and of course all of their submodels (Supermoto, SRS, Air, Vortice, ...)

I emailed Feridax back a few days ago, but am still waiting for an answer from them, as to which level those various boots are certified - will keep informed if more information comes.

oh my god! Puzzled how can this be possible??
Anyway we are looking forward for the future response....but personally i do not think that this model is certified.
Not for the quality, but for the policy...

Well, I had troubles finding

Well, I had troubles finding information about their models, hence I found a link to an online shop that specified one of their model was certified (Vertigo Corsa - not the boot I was interested in, but I could not find the Crossfire advertised as certified on any shop, not any more than on their website that does not precise anything)... so I sent them the link, and asked them (shorten message) :

Citazione:
Some shops on the Internet advertise some of your shoes as certified
to the EN 13634 norm (like this one, for instance:
http://www.hideout-leather.co.uk/motorcycle-clothing-manufacturers/sidi-...).

Though, on your own website, there is no mention of EN 13634
anywhere... which is a bit confusing. So, I guess my question is: are
some of your models certified to EN 13634? And in that case, which
ones, and at which level (as there are EN 13634 Level 1 and EN 13634
Level 2, which provide different levels of protection)?

... and to be fair, here is what they answered me :

Citazione:
Some of our boots are certified CE and the Vertigo Corsa is one of these.
For more info about our products, you may contact our distributor Feridax at
info@feridax.com

So basically, I gave them an example, to make things clearer as to what I was more generally asking... and they skipped the general answer, just answering me about the example (that did not interest me that much : it was barely an example), like they did not know anything more... More generally, they only answered to questions for which I already had answers (they just confirmed those): the questions I hadn't answers for, well, it is just like they didn't either...

Not very reassuring : the manufacturer just basically declares he knows less than the distributor Shock ... so, what purpose does the manufacturer serve, then ? Plus they are really specialized in boots (it constitutes the essential of their products), plus, appart from the submodels, they only have 4 models advertised as certified in their catalogue : I was not asking for the Moon, honestly.
